Aka the massive curious cookie monster

Introducing Barbara is like stepping into her wandering and ever creative foodie mind. It all began with her bingewatching Sex and The City. The sight of a Magnolia Bakery cupcake on the show ignited her inner food explorer. She explores cities all over the world by eating her way to the forefront of the evolving and super exciting food and hospitality scene. Driven by her curiousity she’s able to find the best restaurants, kitchens and hotspots, gets lost in upcoming areas and tastes the scoop of the hottest trends in new flavours and ingredients. As a licensed architect Barbara is very eager for discoveries and experiences. Travelling for food projects and restaurants gave her that one-of-a-kind inspiration she was desperately looking for. On @lespetitespestes she shares recipes with her followers to trigger their cravings. ‘Guided by Food’ is her personal book series where her love for travel, food and photography comes together. Today she is not only working as an author but she also puts her heart and hear soul into her work as a creative consultant, content creator, food stylist and photographer for food entrepreneurs, chefs and sustainable brands.

Nicolas Verschueren

As food entrepreneur Nicolas is damn serious about food industry news and branding strategies, especially when they generate actionable results for his clients. Having worked as a retail marketing manager for luxury brand Delvaux Nicolas knows a thing or two about consumer experience for international audiences. But it’s the atelier of chocolate hero and master chocolatier Pierre Marcolini where Nicolas discovered his passion for food. Not only is Marcolini a purveyor to the Belgian court, but in following the bean-to-bar principle, he travels the world in search of the rarest cocoa beans. Being able to nibble his way through these divine chocolate experiments, Nicolas fell madly in love with chocolate and food. From co-launching the Martha beer, to becoming managing partner of vegan-based cookie kingdom Quinette Nicolas, and participating in the kids brand Little Monsters Nicolas launches brands in the domains of retail and hospitality. Does that sound way too serious? Don’t act pussy. Nicolas loves people – especially Barbara – and is ridiculously passionated about food branding and communication.
